I just had a problem in SharePoint 2010 calendars where I wanted to filter a view so it only showed events from today.

Typically you cannot filter on the “Start Time” or “End Time” columns, so I created a new calculated column called “EndDate” and simply put in the formula box the “End Time” column (“=[End Time]”).  However, when I then tried this out the “End Time” column was advanced by one hour.

I assume this is to do with BST and it would work out fine when the clocks change.  So possibly a setting somewhere in SharePoint to be found.  In the meantime I have changed the EndDate forumae to “=[End Time]-0.0416” which takes an hour off the calculated field “EndDate”.

Will upodate the post if/when I find the solution to the hour glitch.
